It can feel so discouraging, confusing and heartbreaking to witness the same patterns repeat in relationships, and within ourselves.
I collaborate with clients as they work to gently illuminate the shadows within themselves; deepening self compassion and inner knowing, while creating more space for the light of love to be invited in.
Sessions with me are engaged, compassionate and honest. I support clients to process unresolved relational trauma and move past cycles of thought, belief, communication and behavior that keep them stuck in negative relationship patterns.
You might:
Find yourself continually pursuing unavailable partners
Notice yourself criticizing those you date, making it difficult to move past a certain point of intimacy
Feel overwhelmed and “trapped” as intimacy progresses in a relationship
Feel discouraged by reactivity, outbursts, or anger toward those you love, or withdraw and shut down without knowing how to reach out for help
Have difficulty expressing your needs in relationship, and notice building resentment, anger, or distance
Feel overwhelmed by triggers that remind you of past trauma or unresolved relationships
Have emerging desires, fantasies, or attraction within a relationship, and be uncertain how to express or explore this, contributing to anxiety and secrecy
My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative. I integrate traditional person centered and psychodynamic talk therapy with mindfulness and somatic practices that support clients to connect to their own intuitive knowing, building self-trust and increasing their capacity to move towards greater understanding and accountability within their lives and relationships.
